The beginning · 1949
A yard on Pelham Road.
Stark Lumber began in St. Catharines, supplying framing lumber to a growing region. The early yard on Pelham Road was the starting point for a business that would grow alongside Niagara.
Room to grow
At home on Vansickle.
The move to Vansickle Road gave the business room to grow. The yard, delivery fleet and truss operation became part of the work of building homes, farms and commercial spaces across the region.

Today, Stark is an independent, Canadian-owned supplier of lumber and building materials. Contractors and homeowners can find materials, discuss plans and arrange delivery with our St. Catharines team.
